Please note that not all events listed here or on our calendar are affiliated with Conversio Virium. For a listing of CV meetings only, see our meeting announcements. As usual, CV’s regular meetings are always free of charge and open to the public.

Meeting Time and Location

Unless noted otherwise, Conversio Virium is meeting weekly on Monday nights. Doors open at 9:00 PM and meetings begin promptly at 9:15 PM. As a courtesy to the presenter, again, we ask that you please arrive on time.

Meetings are held on campus at Columbia University. The meetings are held at 303 Hamilton Hall, which is at 1130 Amsterdam Avenue on 116^th Street (see Columbia University’s map of our meeting location).

We’ll be putting up posters around campus for most events and announcing the meeting topic and location at least several days beforehand in our newsletter and right here on our web site. If we do not declare that a meeting will be held in this fashion there will not be a meeting on that night.

Special Needs Accessibility

Our meeting space is wheelchair, handicap, and disability accessible. There are ramps to the sides of the staircases and elevators in every building. If you need additional accomodations please don’t hesitate to write to us and let us know. Additionally, you are invited to contact Columbia University’s Office of Disability Services.

Nearby Accomodations

Columbia University is situated between the Riverside and Morningside neighborhoods in Manhattan. There are all manner of accommodations nearby, such as mexican or sushi restaurants, a Duane Reade pharmacy, and several supermarkets.
