Article IX: Amendments to the Constitution

Section 1

The Constitution of CV may be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of the full membership.

Section 2

Any and all sections of the Constitution may be amended except the confidentiality rule, the safe space rule, and the ban on nonconsensual behavior (Article III, Section 3).

Section 3

Anyone may propose an amendment to the Constitution. Proposed amendments to the constitution must be submitted to the group in writing.

Section 4

An amendment to the Constitution must be considered for at least one week (or the first meetings, whichever comes last) from the date of its submission before it may be put to a vote.
