There have been lots of fantastic new ideas in kink events over the last ten years. The creator of one new event, The Geeky Kink Event, talks about harnessing your inner nerd in a fearless manner which dis-Apparates clothing and makes dungeons into ballpits and vice-versa. If D/s can be a lifestyle, can it also be a live-action roleplaying game? Some people talk about kink without boundaries, but how many of them own a TARDIS with glory holes?

Who Else Wants More Play and Less Stress In the Dungeon?

For many, what begins as an exciting adventure into the world of BDSM can become a painful process of navigating societal taboos, cultural prejudices, and unexpected forms of peer pressure.

Can girls only get attention when they dress sexy? Why do we see so many pro-dommes wearing collars (or “chokers”)? Can a top hold their own in jeans and a sweatshirt? Where are the guys in schoolboy costumes and kitty ears? Why are so many men silent when they bottom? How can you get people to stop interrupting you when you’re talking to friends at a party? And, really, what’s with all the men who ask to rub your feet?

Come talk about why some people almost always have a play date, learn a quick way to make people feel more comfortable at your party, and build loving kinky relationships you can be proud of.

About the presenter:

Over the last ten years, maymay has been traveling through regional BDSM Scenes ranging from New York City to San Francisco to Sydney, Australia talking about sex, relationships, and everything that they affect. Best known for his breakthrough MaleSubmissionArt.com project that re-imagines male submission by challenging stereotypes of D/s role and gender presentation, maymay is also a public intellectual who kinks hard on sex-positive social justice activism and sociopolitical critique; his idea of a perfect date is going to a protest march and then cuddling at home watching TEDTalks while leashed to the bed. :)
