Conversio Virium is starting the year in a blaze of narcissistic glory! Our first meeting will be all about us.

A short presentation on the hows, whys, and wherefores of CV will give new members an idea of what to expect for the rest of the year, with our more intensive presentations and demonstrations, in a more relaxed environment. We’ll cover: the range of topics we plan to cover (including a tentative schedule for all our meetings of the semester), how presenters will explain and demonstrate their topics, what is expected of people attending a presentation, our rules for audience consent during more challenging demonstrations, and some more general issues behind how CV is run. A mini demo is planned for the end of the meeting to give some real live-audience experience!

This meeting will last no longer than one hour; everyone is encouraged to stay until the end of our time to socialize, meet new and old members, and talk to the administration about our goals for the year.

LOCATION: 302 Hamilton Hall, Columbia University campus

  1. Yay! Another year, another set of CV meetings. I’m pleased to let you know that I just noticed that CV was listed in Time Out NYs sex issue from this week (page 15 of the print version or #2 on their site http://newyork.timeout.com/articles/sex-dating/78572/the-pervs-guide-to-nyc ).

Right when I was about to send you a comment about it I also happened to notice the short post on Bwog about it all as well. http://www.bwog.net/articles/columbia_university_bringing_the_kink_since_1754

Keep up the great work everyone! Hopefully I’ll be able to make it to the first meeting of the year, but either way I’m sure it will be great!
