Michelle Storm and August are hosting a TES party this Friday. From the TES website:
Come ye wenches and ye scurvy dawgs to Paddles for an evening of swashbuckling fun. You may be tied to the mast or hoisted by your own petard by the evenings end. Plenty of grub for your belly and virgin ale for your spirits. Come as a gentleman, dirty pirate, Lady, wench or any combination of those, and enjoy the seas and possibly win some booty. Arrr!
This meeting will be held at Paddles, located at 250 West 26th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues, basement floor.
As usual, party attendance costs $25 for members of TES and other BDSM/leather organizations (including Conversio Virium!) and $35 for non-members. If you attend the TES-TNG meeting beforehand then you can stay for the party for only an additional $20.
(Do you know of an event that you don’t see on our calendar and want to share? Please send it in!)

Join Lolita this Friday as she presents “It’s amazing what you can find!” From the TES website:
Don’t have to have a lot of money to stock your toy bag? Mix a little imagination with ordinary, everyday items and you can have some fabulous SM toys. This workshop will cover finding, converting and using mundane items for SM play. Bring one of your own pervertibles for some kinky show-and-tell. Come on! That Paddleboro kitchen spoon is the most famous pervertible in the country.
This meeting will be held at Paddles, located at 250 West 26th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues, basement floor.
As usual, meeting attendance costs $4 for members of TES and other BDSM/leather organizations (including Conversio Virium!) and $8 for non-members. Non-memers who are students also pay $4 with a valid ID.

As I’m sure a number of you will remember from last summer, CV was heavily involved with the first year of this event, and made up a formidable population of our own at the festivities. We volunteered, presented, and all-around had an amazing time. For those of you who would be interested in joining us again this year or for the first time, check out the Floating World site for more information.
Should you be interested in going to The Floating World and volunteering (thereby also saving on admission fee), then you should email volunteer@thefloatingworld.org in order to get on the volunteers list. It totally does not keep you from enjoying the rest of the convention. We’re not yet sure of how many hours of work are involved, but last year they said 12 and wound up giving everyone only 8. Make sure to mention that you’re with Conversio Virium!
