Suspend DC is a flesh hook event that offers horizontal and vertical suspensions, energy pulls, and plenty of vicarious endorphins. At The Crucible, DC’s largest and best equipped public dungeon. The club’s ceiling winch allows for plenty of lift for high flying. Play stations throughout the space give ample public and private space for BDSM play. Early registration closes March 22nd.

Vertical Suspension costs $100 for pre-registrants/$120 for those paying at the door and includes 4-6 hooks set in the shoulders, chest, arms or knees which are then attached to ropes and rigging. As the rigging is lifted, up you go on your hooks. Like bungie jumping with a little more edge and not so much bounce.

Horizontal Suspension costs $140 for pre-registrants/$160 for those paying at the door and includes upward from a dozen smaller hooks set into the sides of the body at key points, then attached to more extensive ropes and rigging before being lifted. Fly like Superman or just hang and chill like one of the bodies in the movie Coma.

Folks not ready to fly can still play with hooks and sensation by participating in an energy pull, alone or with friends.
Energy Pulls cost $60 for pre-registrants/$80 for those paying at the door and include hooks set in the chest, arms or back which are then attached to ropes allowing the hooks to be pulled by others or by the individual in resistance to an anchor point.

If this sounds exciting, but you are not sure if you are ready to try either, supporters and spectators are welcome, and encouraged.
Spectators/supporters pay $25 to get in the door and are welcome to drum, eat and generally help hold the space.

Suspend DC asks that you be sober for this event. There will be enough endorphins and adrenaline to go around. Please read the Registration Guidelines for more information.
