CV Elections: How are we doing?

Published on April 9, 2007 at 10:30 PM by tyler | Filed under CV Announcements |

As many of you know, CV has undergone many changes this year. Increased media attention, changes in administration, an increase of overall campus interest, an increase in alumnus involvement and of course this new site, have opened up many arenas for improvement.

If you are reading this, you probably agree that CV holds an important place on campus as well as in the NYC BDSM scene. Just a quick google search of Conversio Virium will yield equal numbers of postings by well-wishers as well as condemners from all over the nation. This is just one testament to the power that one university club can have in the world, and this could only be possible through the flow of communication between current and former members of CV, its steering community and the university at large. I strongly believe that the new format of this site opens up more opportunities for the members of CV to have their voices heard on issues that we feel strongly about.

On that note, I would like to open the floor here. What do you like about CV at its present moment? What don’t you like? What do you think needs improvement? What would you like to see more/less of? This community exists because we create it. It is up to everyone to create the community we each dream of.

This thread is meant to allow for discussion of potential meeting topics, changes to the club’s constitution, the creation of committees for special events. This thread can also be used to nominate oneself or others for positions CV is in need of filling or re-electing. If you would like more information about these positions, please comment here, and read CV’s constitution and by-laws.
