Logo Contest

CV is conducting a contest for the creation of our new logo. We are looking for something that will signify CV to students on this campus and to members. Anything goes for the submission of the image, provided the below list of rules is not violated. Naturally, the logo should have the words “Conversio Virium” or “CV” on it clearly somewhere, though not necessarily. The due date is April 23^rd, and submissions can be handed in at a meeting or emailed. Good luck!

Logo Contest Rules and Guidelines

1. The logo submission should contain the words “Conversio Virium” or the letters “CV” somewhere in the design.
2. The logo submissions must not violate any copyright, trademark, service mark, or other intellectual property laws of other organizations or individuals (including that of Columbia University).
3. If your logo submission wins, you should be willing to give CV the rights to use versions of the image on any items chosen by the club in the future, as well as permission to alter the image as seen fit.
4. The logo should be submitted by April 23^rd.

Fed Bash!

The Fed Bash is Columbia University’s annual celebration of mayhem and debauchery. Conversio Virium will be there, of course, along with a host of live bands, DJs, artists, burlesque dancers, and drunken co-eds. Come show your support!

Leather Crafts Workshop

Join Jason and fellow CV-ers in a Leather Workshop to create your own lovely leather restraints. Attendees must RSVP ahead of time so that we can prepare the proper materials. This will be a great opportunity to make high quality leather goods for the low low price of free so make sure you RSVP!

Abductions with Morpheus

Morpheus was formerly a Russian Interrogator/Counter-Intelligence Agent with the US Army having served a combined 13 years as Enlisted Soldier then Officer by way of OCS. Morpheus has been in the formal SM scene for 9 years volunteering for various events, organizations and hosting parties. He served as Educational Director for The Society of Janus (SOJ) and has taught SM classes for Mr. S, SMOdyssey, SOJ, DomSubFriends, and TES among others.

Abductions: An introseduction that will undress the major concepts: negotiation, psychology, safety, planning, stalking, execution (of the plan…not the victim) and common pitfalls (mental, physical and legal). In addition, a former abductee will expose her thoughts about her abduction and answer some questions. And who knows…perhaps a willing victim will be kidnapped from the class?
